Physical Description:
Frostnose is a black an white she-cat with a long tail and whiskers. She has green eyes... but is blind.
Personality Traits: Frostnose is a very experienced Medicine Cat. She acts first, thinks about the consequences later, especially when an injured cat is involved. Despite the many times this has helped, it of course has also hurt; she had dealt some unintended consequences. She is very understanding, and very wise; she's "seen" a lot in her 48 moons.
History: Frostnose is of unknown origins. No cat knows if she was kittypet-born, loner-born, rogue-born, or even another-Clan-born! She was found by Riverwing, an older Queen by the WindClan edge of the Lake, but still within the ThunderClan territory. The leader before Halfstar, Barkstar allowed her to be taken in and raised as a Clan cat; only Frostnose knows the reason: StarClan had scent Barkstar a dream, calling her 'a Cat important to the survival of your Clan'.
It was clear right away that something was off about the newly named Frostkit; it was Heavycloud - the old Medicine Cat - who identified it: her blindness. He saw that she didn't track things with her eyes and always looked slightly off from a cats face when spoken to, or when she spoke. Riverwing, upon learning this, was quite distraught, even though Frostkit was not her own born. She loved her like her own, nevertheless. She wanted Frostkit to be great, and she didn't know how she'd ever be a warrior like that. But, when Frostkit was but 5 moons old - just one away from a regular cats apprenticeship - Heavycloud had a dream from StarClan: they told him the same as they had told Barkstar: 'Frostkit is vital to the survival of the Clan when you are gone and have joined us'. It was in this new wording that he knew Frostkit was destined to become a Medicine Cat.
Riverwing was estatic as Frostkit to know she had a future in the Clan; though only Barkstar, Heavycloud and Frostkit knew the entirety of it.
Frostpaw became Frostnose at 19 moons, and only two days later Heavycloud died from a badger attack on the camp, trying to protect Frostnose who could not fight. The badgers were driven off, but no matter all her skills, Frostnose could not save her beloved mentor. Frostnose still grieves to this day over her lost friend, but keeps the however horrible experience as her drive: she is determined to never lose another cat as long as she lives.
