Waking Up for Training [closed]

[Hollyfur & Co]

Snowpaw awoke alone in the den. Her brothers were already gone, as were the rest of her fellow apprentices.
Yawning, Snowpaw stretched her cold limbs and walked out into the camp in search of Halfstar, her mentor.

[Halfstar]

He blinked as he watched his apprentice, watched as she yawned and stretched, and while she glanced around the camp looking for him and he was easy to find, for his face was unusual. Stretching, he stood up, walking easily towards Snowpaw, his voice teasing as he spoke to Snowpaw, "I might need to sleep in the apprentice den so you wake up on time more often." His tail twitched as he looked down in thought at her, "Though I guess your brain makes up for that." He purred. Despite being a leader, training apprentice's was a mighty fine thing to do and was excellent experience for those who didn't mind and could handle having an apprentice. Young as they were, most weren't extremely mouse-brained and had great energy.

"We shall hunt first, the clan comes first and during these dark times of leaf-bare, we need the little prey we can find. Especially for Queen's and Elder's." He sighed, little puffs of his breath went into the air and disappeared in mere seconds. "After that we can train and test your battle skills and technique's." He meowed, trying to push away everything nagging at his brain. Hollyfur, Snowpaw's mother was expecting kits and the elder's were growing weak with little prey, times were harsh and sometimes even more unforgiving to him.

Snowpaw was instantly excited, and definately awake.

"Alright, Halfstar!" she said, "Where will we hunt today?"
