Adderstep watched in horror as the battle unfolded. Thistlestar managed to pin down her sister, but not before Heronclaw did a number to the leader. She was down, unconscious, and Adderstep could do nothing. It seemed as if she was losing a life, and he could do nothing but bow his head in shame. He should have helped her.
When he looked back up, Sharpclaw and Mintleaf were dragging the wounded cat to the medicine cats den.
"Do take order, calm the clan down while Thistlestar get's looked at by Mintleaf."
He nodded blankly, then shook off the shock and adressed the clan. "Thistlestar is being attended to. Please, try not to crowd her or Mintleaf. Remember, Mintleaf hasn't failed us yet, so Thistlestar is in the best of hands. In the mean time, please try to go about your day as normal. I'll deal with Heronclaw as soon as Thistlestar is well enough to give orders." [/color] The deputy turned around. "Would you mind helping me look for Heronclaw? I don't want her to get away, but I think it's best if the clan doesn't know how serious this is. You are an able warrior, you and I should be able to track her."[/color][/blockquote][/size] |

He looked towards the deputy and watched as he shook of the shock and addressed the clan, when Thistlestar died, Adderstep would have to get over his shock like he did now. Hanging on to yesterday made it easy to bring destruction to today. He listened quietly, both when the tom addressed the clan and addressed him. "Yes, I shall help you Adderstep." He meowed, dipping his head respectfully towards the deputy. "When shall we leave? Now or when Thistlestar is healed enough to take order over the clan?" He questioned.

ooc; Thistlestar and my TC charrie, Frostnose the medicine cat posted with them; Heronclaw already got to TC and conveaned with her long ago banished father, Mudtail. I guess you guys could like... follow her to the border or whatever, or even catch up with her but not be able to stop her or something... just thought I'd let you know
